XSitePro Templates FAQ's
How much does a template cost? All XSitePro templates are $75 for non-exclusive rights.
None of these templates come with exclusive rights. For custom (exclusive) templates, please go to
XSitePro Designs.
How do I order? I do have order buttons on the product pages, but I'm more than happy to take
orders over the phone or by email. That way you can also order any customization, in case you need it.
Customization is $75/hour.
Do the templates come with support? Installation support is included. All other support is
$75/hour.
How do I decide what template to buy? Look at each template with an eye to making it work
for your business. Is the colour wrong? You can change that! Is the header photo wrong? You can change that!
What if I decide I need a custom XSitePro
template? Just visit XSiteProDesigns.com!
What do I receive exactly?
- All the XSitePro template files
- Full instructions on how to import the template
- The Photoshop PSD file with all the layers intact for easy editing
- Full rights to the photo(s) in the header.
- If applicable, you will receive watermarked copies of photos used in the body of the template with the
source for those photos, so you can easily purchase them. Photos will generally cost you under $10 each, some
as low as $1.
Why do I need the Photoshop PSD file? Having the Photoshop file makes you completely
independent: you can edit your own files or hire a Web or graphics designer to make changes for you.
I don't own Photoshop. How can I edit my PSD file?
- You can use the PSD plugin for Paint.net (free graphics editor) to open and edit your Photoshop file. Not all
the Photoshop features are available, but you will be able to replace text and photos with no
problem.
- GIMP is a freeware graphics editing program that also supports opening PSD
files and there is no need to install a plugin. GIMP’s PSD support is not perfect yet, but it is still
good. You'll be fine.
- And, finally, you can hire me at XSiteProDesigns.com, or hire another designer at elance.com, getafreelancer.com,
guru.com, getacoder.com, scriptlance.com, vWorker.com (formerly rentacoder.com), 99designs.com,
odesk.com, etc. Always be careful and do your due diligence when hiring from any freelance
service! Or try the XSitePro forum for other XSitePro Web designers.
Why are some of the photos in the template watermarked? Watermarked photos are called
"comps," meaning "composition" photos, used for display purposes only. We do not always buy the licenses for stock
photos. This keeps the cost of the templates down. And most purchasers will want to replace them with photos
specific to their own business anyway. We supply the URL of the stock photo Web site and the ID numbers of the
watermarked photos, so you can buy them if you wish.

What rights do these templates come with? You can build as many Web sites as you want with
these templates, and you can also sell Web sites that you build with them. You cannot resell these
templates, however.
Can I buy exclusive rights to a template? No, but you can buy a custom template for only $395
at XSitePro Designs.
What else can you do for me?
- I can turn a template from another source into an XSitePro template,
e.g., a TemplateMonster.com template or a template from a graphics designer who doesn't know XSitePro.
- I can create a 100% custom XSitePro template for you.
- I can implement and customize a blog for you.
- I can build a custom mobile Web site for you.
